FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lake fish farming and can be used during one-year as well as long-term fish growing in secluded "killed" and periodically "killed" ponds - lakes, cutoff meanders and non-drainable ponds. Method of fish growing in secluded "killed" and periodically "killed" ponds with a great number of stunted and predatory fish includes seeding for one-year or long-term fish-growing period, water aeration, concentration and fish capture in aeration zone in winter. The innovation is that in the first year some fast-growing fish are let out in the pond for one-year fish-growing period and at the end of the period it is caught together with nuisance fish left uneaten by means of minnow haul seine using the method of complete fishing off and stocked with lavras of peleds, carps, herbivorous fish for one-year and long-term fish growing period.
EFFECT: enhancement of efficiency of use of lakes, cutoff meanders and non-drainable ponds with a great number of coarse and stunted fish using pond food reserve intensively but ineffectively and expansion in the number of pounds being used for commercial fish growing.
