FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to oil and gas production and is meant for improving well's productivity; it can also be used in other downhole geotechnologies. Method involves external and internal electrodes located in the working area and isolated from each other. Gap between electrodes is filled with liquid and electric current is supplied to one of them. In order to increase intensity and efficiency of the action, electric current is supplied in the alternating current mode uninterruptedly, then it is passed through the liquid, electrodes are heated, the liquid in the gap is brought to gaseous state, gas is driven away and moved from the gap, and simultaneously, the latter is filled with liquid. Downhole generator consists of a metal housing made in the form of a tube with an attachment head and a nozzle, an internal electrode with a shaped head, an isolator for installing the electrode along the housing axis, a wire and current source. In order to warm-up the working area, internal electrode is equipped with a through axial hole, its surface comprises together with the housing an annular channel the radial value whereof has been determined from the condition of electric voltage impenetrability. The shaped head is made in the form of a cone, and isolator - in the form of a bottom, and a nozzle is installed on the attachment head.
EFFECT: increasing intensity and efficiency of the action in the well, as well as controlling the working process.
