FIELD: engines and pipes.
SUBSTANCE: heat-pipe jet engine relates to power engineering and can be used to recover secondary and natural thermal resources, particularly to convert thermal power into mechanical power. Proposed engine comprises heat source, heat exchanger, cold medium feed device and outlet nozzle. Heat source and heat exchanger represent an evaporator with its casing walls coated, from inside, with wick communicating with condensate circular collector. The latter communicates, via vapor and condensate pipes, with condenser. Side walls of the latter are also coated with wick from inside. Condenser outside is enclosed in circular casing to make and intake circular slot communicating with expansion chamber. The latter communicates with outlet nozzle.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
