FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to inspection technology and may be used to create systems of automated control and diagnostics of multichannel telecommunication systems. Technical result is achieved by the fact that object control is realised in two stages: at the first stage (stage of assessment) they produce N counts of measurement results during T duration of single signal period; at the second stage (stage of analysis) during time T they perform recognition of produced results of signal assessment with definition of technical condition class (type of failure) of object. Validity of signal distortion extent assessment is achieved by recognition of image of controlled and investigated diagrams of conditions obtained during separation of outlet signal from control object into two components, which differ from each other by value less than period and creating a closed figure on plane. Each reference diagram of condition corresponds to certain type of controlled object technical condition.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of diagnostics of multichannel telecommunication systems in detection of failures.
