SUBSTANCE: unit comprises a frame, an automatic hitch bracket, carrier wheels. The frame is equipped by a set of rotor discs on the horizontal axis and an additional set of rotor discs with its shoulder mounted forward to the main set. The rotor discs of the main set are fitted with the blades in the form of a flat polygon with a cutting edge. The driven discs are equipped by cutting blades which are bent in the direction of movement with the cutting angle of γ = 40…60° and sharpening angle of α = 20…30°. The unit is equipped with a rod for the discs coupling, a pole, a draw bar and a pneumatic cylinder for lifting and lowering of the driven discs when they approach a plant.

EFFECT: unit allows for the improvement of tillage quality in the cucurbitaceous crops rows.
