FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: tool comprises discs with knives. The tool is made semi-mounted, mounted on a rectangular frame resting on wheels adjustable in height. On the frame three ripper drums are mounted hingedly via the carrier frames - two lateral and one rear. The rear drum is mounted with overlapping the grasp width of lateral drums. The ripper drums consist of discs with knives mounted on the octagonal axis. The knives are made on the outer part of the discs have a height equal to the maximum depth of tillage, and placed on the disc at an angle of 42-45° to the direction of the tool movement. The front wall of the knife is made perpendicular to the soil surface, and the rear wall has a sharpening angle of 12-15° to the front wall. The discs with knives are fixed to the octagonal axis so that the knives of the adjacent discs are shifted with respect to each other and placed on the drum along a helical line. The carrier frames of the ripper drums for changing position relative to the soil surface have hydraulic cylinders.
EFFECT: constructive implementation enables to improve the quality of soil ripping and to ensure full cutting of weeds while simultaneous reducing energy costs.
