FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to construction industry and namely to composite structural member that is preferably used in constructions of intermediate floors of buildings or in vertical and horizontal constructions for apartment blocks. Structural member consists of at least one oblong body made from foam plastic and having opposite surfaces and at least one reinforcing profile passing in longitudinal direction in the oblong body. The reinforcing profile has the first side section protruding from the first surface of the oblong body; at that, the surface of that section passes in fact parallel to the first surface of the oblong body at the specified distance therefrom.
EFFECT: increasing carrying capacity of the member.
