FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of mechanical engineering and to measurement methods. Shaft is fixed, load is applied, and twisting angle is identified, which characterises shaft rigidity. Fixation of shaft in circumferential direction is carried out between two loading mechanisms, arranged with the possibility of axial displacement along horizontal plate. Gaps are cleared in circumferential direction in moving parts with the help of compression bolt of the first loading mechanism. On shafts of both mechanisms they fix yokes with horizontal sites lying in single plane. Compression bolt of the first loading mechanism is carried out into n stages until value of rated force Prated is obtained, which is proportional to specified rated torque M t.rated. Value of force Pn is fixed at each of n stages with the help of force-measuring instrument of the second loading mechanism. At each stage they calculate value of torque Mn and twisting angles Δαn between horizontal sites of yokes, for each value Δαn they calculate twisting coefficient fn=Δαn/Mn. Mean average value fav is defined, and rated twisting angle is calculated according to formula αrated=fav●Mt.rated.
