SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic control and can be used in pulsed dc-to-dc converters, widely used for controlling electric drives and power supply system regulators. In the method of controlling a voltage converter, switching of the key element for changing the sign of energy balance between the current value of energy stored in the filter, and its value at given output voltage takes place with delay, which is similar to a hysteresis effect, proportional to the rate of change of the current value of energy balance.
EFFECT: limiting switching frequency of the key element of a converter in transient conditions.
