KEY PHASE CURRENT NORMALIZER Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC G05F1/70

Abstract RU 2808233 C1

FIELD: electronics; electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in the primary power supply links of energy-intensive equipment from a facility-based three-phase power supply network. To achieve the technical result, the key phase current normalizer provides a two-stage charge of the output capacitor when the power supply network is turned on, and also implements parametric control of output voltage stabilization while limiting the amplitude of phase currents at the level of the load current. The key phase current normalizer contains a three-phase current voltage source 1, a rectifier 2, a choke 3, controlled and uncontrolled key elements 4 and 5, sensors 6 and 9 for output voltage and rectified voltage of a three-phase network, output and input capacitors 7 and 10, as well as a charger 11 and pulse-width converter 8. The technical result is achieved by a set of blocks and connections with a given operating algorithm of the pulse-width converter 8 with the implementation of parametric dependencies of the width-modulated pulse signal on the output signals of voltage sensors 6 and 9, for which it includes drivers 8.1 and 8.2, comparators 8.3 and 8.4, coincidence circuit 8.5, clock generator 8.6, sawtooth voltage generator 8.8 and limiting amplifier 8.9.

EFFECT: increased reliability while limiting inrush currents and improved form factor of phase current consumption from the facility-based electrical network while expanding the scope of use.
