FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to radio engineering, namely, to VHF-receivers used in board and surface radiolocating stations, in systems of communication and navigation. VHF-receiver with double conversion of frequency comprises power divider, control circuit and n receiving channels, every of which comprises the following components: low noise amplifier, valve, the first mixer of frequencies, the first and second bandpass filters, amplifier of the first intermediate frequency, the second mixer of frequencies, amplifier of the second intermediate frequency. VHF-receiver additionally comprises frequency multiplier, and each receiving channel - cyclotron protective device, the first, second and third attenuators, the second, third and fourth amplifiers of the first intermediate frequency, directional coupler, the third bandpass filter, the first and second switches.

EFFECT: provision of fast-acting automatic protection of receiving channels against effect of powerful inlet signals, expansion of functional resources, improvement of technical characteristics of VHF-receiver with double conversion of frequency.
