MECHANICAL DEVICE FOR MIXING FLOWING MEDIUM SAMPLE WITH PROCESSING SOLUTION Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61B5/15 G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2370211 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to devices for mixing blood sample with processing solution. Device for preparation of sample of flowing medium used in measuring device of investigated flowing medium contains first and second parts. First part contains partition- piercing protrusion and capillary canal. Second part contains processing solution chamber, first partition, sealing processing solution chamber, and second partition, sealing processing solution chamber. In second version of realisation second part of device contains one processing solution chamber, and partition, sealing processing solution chamber. In third version device additionally contains mechanism for penetration through second partition, as a result of which content of processing solution chamber and capillary canal can be removed from device. First part of device contains capillary canal, whose size allows to contain in it flowing medium sample. Second part of device has processing solution chamber placed between first and second partitions. First part penetrates through first partition, when first part is inserted into second part, as a result of which content of processing solution chamber mixes with content of capillary canal. Fourth version of device contains first part, processing solution chamber, closed with partition, and second part. First part contains capillary canal, whose size allows it to contain flowing medium sample, internal nozzle, connected with capillary canal, mixing chamber, connected both to capillary canal and to internal nozzle, and metering nozzle, connected to mixing chamber. Second part is made with possibility of movement with respect to first part for puncturing partition, as a result of which content of processing solution chamber mixes with content of capillary canal in mixing chamber and is removed through metering nozzle, when second part moves with respect to first part. In fifth version device contains second part in which first part penetrates through partition, when first part is inserted into second part, as a result of which content of processing solution chamber mixes with content of capillary canal, as a result of which content of processing solution chamber and capillary canal can be removed from device.

EFFECT: invention provides combined system for mixing flowing medium sample with processing solution and for introduction of mixed flowing medium sample and processing solution into measuring device.
