FIELD: aircraft construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns aviation engineering and can be applied in construction of helicopter airplanes with remote control, combining features of helicopters and airplanes. Helicopter airplane is a monoplane with extensions, spaced-apart double keel vertical and horizontal empennage, fuselage, power plant, target cargo compartment, three-strut wheel chassis. Helicopter airplane can transform flight configuration from longitudinal double-helix helicopter mode to airplane flight mode with duo fore and aft airscrews, tractor and pusher, and back. Additionally it features fore reducer with output axle capable of rotation with tractor airscrew against reducer axis upwards from horizontal position along symmetry plane, while output axle of aft reducer with pusher airscrew can rotate downwards simultaneously with the aft axle. Horizontal axes of output axles of fore and aft reducers are mounted at different levels. Two TV cameras of front panoramic horizon view are mounted in front ends of each balloon to allow for true remote control by operator. Transmission features synchronising axle inside fuselage and along symmetry plane to maintain even power distribution between fore and aft airscrews.
EFFECT: increased lifting weight and load factor, simplified construction, improved operational properties and cargo efficiency indicators, enhanced maximum cruising flight speed and aerodynamic efficiency, simplified longitudinal control during hovering and improved take-off and landing properties.
