FIELD: oil and gas production.

SUBSTANCE: procedure for drilling holes in soil consists in following: drilling tube and transporting screw installed inside drilling tube are driven to rotation and deepened into soil; massif of soil is loosened by means of at least one main cutting edge assembled before transporting screw in axial direction; cutting edge is withdrawn inside drilling tube by means of transporting screw. The main cutting edge is rotated by means of the drilling tube around drilling axis. The main cutting edge is located on the drilling tube, and while rotating, it covers at least considerable part of area of cross section of the transport screw. The facility for making holes in soil, particularly for implementation of the disclosed procedure consists of the drilling tube, of the transporting screw installed inside the drilling tube and of at least one main cutting edge which is situated before the transporting screw in axial direction for development of soil; the cutting edge is placed on the drilling tube and is driven to rotation around drilling axis by means of the drilling tube. The main cutting edge passes from the side wall of the drilling tube to drilling axis and is made so, that the cutting edge covers at least considerable part of area of the cross section of the transporting screw while rotating.

EFFECT: low wear of facility and high speed of penetration.
