FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of high-molecular compounds. The composition contains a) 5 to 95 wt % 1-butene based atactic polymer, with the following characteristics: molecular weight distribution Mw/Mn, equal to or less than 4; content of rr triad, measured using 13C-NMR, between 5 and 50%; absence of enthalpy of fusion, determined using differential scanning calorimetry; intrinsic viscosity (I.V), measured in tetrahydronaphthalene at 135°C, between 0.85 dl/g and 5 dl/g; crystallinity, determined using infrared spectroscopy, below 0.5%; b) 5 to 95 wt % 1-butene based isotactic polymer, with the following characteristics: over 80% isotactic pentad (mmmm), measured using 13C-NMR; melting point above 80°C; intrinsic viscosity (I.V), measured in tetrahydronaphthalene at 135°C, between 0.1 dl/g and 5 dl/g. Method of producing said composition involves bringing into contact one or more monomers in polymerisation conditions in the presence of a catalyst system, containing at least one organic compound of a transition metal. Components a) and b) are obtained at the same time in the same reactor.
EFFECT: improved outer appearance of polymer, increased elasticity.
