FIELD: textile, paper.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to textile industry. Fiber-feeding mechanism of knitting machines contains block, installed with ability of reciprocating movement, and thread feeder with catch. Thread feeder is installed with ability of movement by vertical and is implemented from elastic material. Forming opening of catch allows form of concave arc. Catch is manufactured from ceramics.
EFFECT: mechanism provides reduction of fiber deformation (including metallic), to provide uniform fiber tension at passing through opening of catch of thread feeder even for extreme positions of thread feeder, and also to increase durability of work surface of thread feeder catch.
