FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: projection lens can be used in night vision devices for imaging from an electron-optical image converter screen to a CCD matrix. The projection lens has six components, lying on the beam path. The first component is a biconvex lens. The second component is a positive meniscus lens, the concave surface of which faces the image plane. The third component is a biconcave lens. The fourth component is made from two lenses stuck together, the first of which is biconvex and the second - negative meniscus lens. The fifth component is a biconvex lens. The sixth negative component is made from biconvex and biconcave lenses stuck together. An aperture diaphragm is placed between the third and fourth components. Relative optical power, refraction indices and average dispersion of components and lenses of components satisfy relationships given in the formula of invention.
EFFECT: higher quality of image in the entire field of vision.
