FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine comprises fixed stator with electromagnets fitted equidistantly thereon, and external rotor with its circular magnetic core furnished with permanent magnets with magnetically soft plates fitted there between. Note that, in compliance with this invention, stator is furnished with teeth regularly spaced apart along the circumference, each tooth accommodating electromagnet representing coil wound thereon. Note also that coils make two engine half-wings, each being connected to power supply via control unit. Aforesaid permanent magnets fitted on rotor make rotor poles and are arranged in pairs with magnets differently magnetised in axial direction. Rotor teeth are arranged, back-to-back, between each pair of magnets. Note here that 2p = Z, where p is the number of rotor poles, Z is the number of stator teeth, and that S = 2(x - bp), where S is the rotor tooth width, x if the pole pitch, bp is the width of magnets pair along the circumference, and that Z2 = 0.5 Z, where Z2 is the number of rotor teeth.
EFFECT: higher starting torque.
