FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: reluctance machine includes toothed stator with Z1 teeth enveloped with coils of m - phase 2p - pole armature winding, is equipped with clamps for connection of capacitors, and rotor on the shaft of which there installed is toothed magnetic core with Z2 = Z1 ± 2p teeth. On the shaft there also installed is electromagnetic pack forming in circumferential direction of the rotor Z2 poles of alternating polarity. Active resistance of each phase of armature winding comprises less than one fourth of difference of its maximum and minimum inductive resistance determined at permanent frequency of forced rotation of rotor in generator mode. Owing to electromagnetic pack introduced on the rotor, as well as owing to the winding used with the specified ratio of active and inductive parameters, the proposed reluctance machine is capable of operating in generator mode by self-excitation to capacitive load; at that, braking electromagnetic torque is developed.
EFFECT: enlarging the application area of reluctance machine.
