METHOD OF PROTECTING ENVIRONMENT FROM POLLUTION WITH SOLID HOUSEHOLD WASTES Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC B09B1/00 

FIELD: ecology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of protecting environment from pollution with solid household wastes. Preliminary examination of territory of unequipped dump is carried out. In immediate vicinity to paths leading to territory of unequipped dump temporary sites with temporary cover are made. On said sites temporary garbage-collecting bins for storage of solid household wastes are installed for the period of unequipped dump liquidation. Temporary removal of solid household wastes from installed bins is organised. Protective barrier is put up. Solid household wastes are removed form the territory of unequipped dump by dustcarts. Polluted soil is removed and re-cultivation with filling of the territory with unpolluted earth is carried out. After carrying out re-cultivation on said territory permanent sites with solid cover are made. On sites garbage-collecting containers for storage of solid household wastes are installed. After installation of containers temporary sites with temporary garbage-collecting bins are liquidated. After realisation of the whole complex of mentioned above measures, created organised point of collecting solid household wastes is included into general system of collecting solid household wastes and regular removal of wastes to exploited equipped solid wastes landfill is organised.

EFFECT: invention ensures soil and atmosphere protection from pollution with solid household wastes in immediate vicinity to unequipped dump during the period of carrying out works on its liquidation due to prevention of the very possibility of appearance of new unequipped dump on adjoining territory during the period of carrying out said works.
