FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing polyisocyanurate polyurethane material which is used for making soles of football boots and ski boots, automobile parts, for example armrests, door panels, backseat panels and visors. The method involves reacting polyisocyanate and a polyol component, which is capable of reacting with isocyanate, where the reaction is carried out at isocyanate index ranging from 150 to 1500 and in the presence of a trimerisation catalyst. Polyisocyanate consists of a) from 80 to 100 wt % diphenylmethanediisocyanate, which contains at least 40 wt % 4,4'-diphenylmethanediisocyanate and/or derivative of said diphenylmethanediisocyanate, which is liquid at 25°C, with NCO index equal to at least 20 wt % (polyisocyanate a) and b) 20 to 0 wt % of the other polyisocyanate (polyisocyanate b). The polyol component consists of a) from 80 to 100 wt % polyether polyol with average nominal functionality ranging from 2 to 6, average equivalent weight ranging from 150 to 1000, average molecular weight ranging from 600 to 5000, content of oxyethylene (OE) ranging from 75 to 100 wt %, and c) from 20 to 0 wt % of one or more other compounds which are capable of reacting with isocyanate, except water, where amount of polyol a) and compound b) are rated for total amount of polyol a and compound b).

EFFECT: obtained materials exhibit high shock resistance and cohesion strength, are resistant to effects of different temperatures and inflammability, have short demoulding time and are less brittle.
