SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foamed material, having density of less than 100 kg/m³ and containing matrix material which contains a large number of carbamide groups with content of rigid blocks of more than 50%, which is a product of reaction of polyisocyanate with water at index 10-100 (hereinafter matrix A); and a polymer material which 1) does not contain groups which are capable of forming urethane, carbamide or isocyanurate groups upon reaction with an isocyanate group, 2) interpenetrates into said matrix A and 3) is a polymer having average molecular weight higher than 500. The polymer contains at least 50 wt % oxyethylene groups with respect to the weight of said polymer, which is a product of reaction of, at index 100-250, polyisocyanate with a polymer, having average molecular weight higher than 500, containing at least 50 wt % oxyethylene groups with respect to the weight of said polymer, and one group which is reactive with respect to the isocyanate group (hereinafter material B); and where the fraction of all ingredients used to produce said matrix A and said polymer material B, in terms of weight, ranges from 10:90 to 70:30. A method of producing such material is also described.

EFFECT: obtaining foamed plastic materials, without allowing premature hardening, having low density, good sound absorption properties, insulating properties and low emissions, which results in low turbidity and good heat resistance.
