FIELD: veterinary.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary, namely to creation of food of vegetable origin. As food components, powder of rhizomes with roots of common madder and food ingredients - buckwheat flour, oats flour, powder of Jerusalem artichoke tubers and flavour. Food is obtained by preliminary drying of powder of rhizomes with roots of common madder, buckwheat flour, oats flour, powder of Jerusalem artichoke tubers and flavour to residual humidity not more than 2%, crushing to particle size is not larger than 0.5 mm and sieving through sieve, mixing of said components till homogeneous mixture, moisturising with portable water till plastic mass is obtained, granulation by punching and granule drying at temperature 35-40°C till residual humidity constitutes 5%. All components are taken with definite ratio.

EFFECT: invention allows to extend arsenal of means for treatment of urolithiasis in animals which possess enhanced organoleptic properties, which ensures voluntary food intake by cats.
