METHOD OF ESTIMATING SEVERITY OF CLINICAL COURSE OF NON-PSYCHOTIC VERSIONS OF PSYCHOORGANIC SYNDROME Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61B5/476

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to psychiatry. Clinical electroencephalographic examination with coherent electroencephalogram analysis is carried out. Coefficients of average coherence (CAC) are determined in the range from 0 to 32 Hz of occipital and frontal regions. CAC are determined between occipital and frontal, central, anterior-, medial- and posterior-temporal cortical zones of ipsi- and contralateral hemisphere. Then in the same manner CAC are determined between frontal regions and central, parietal, occipital, anterior-, medial- and posterior-temporal cortical zones of ipsi- and contralateral hemisphere. CAC ratio between occipital and frontal regions (occipital-frontal coefficient - OFC) is calculated and if OFC value is higher than 0.85, unfavourable course of non-psychotic versions of psychoorganic syndrome is estimated.

EFFECT: method extends arsenal of means for estimating severity of clinical course of non-psychotic versions of psychoorganic syndrome.
