FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to psychiatry. It involves clinical electroencephalography to detect an interhemispheric asymmetry. It is followed with the coherent analysis of electroencephalogram (EEG), determination of an average zonal indexes of the right and left cerebral hemispheres calculated homolaterally in all frequency ranges between frontal and anterior temporal, anterior temporal and middle, and also between middle and frontal cortical regions. The interhemispheric asymmetry parametre is calculated by dividing the average zonal index of the right hemisphere by the average zonal index of the left hemisphere. If the interhemispheric asymmetry parametre is more than 1.03, generalised anxious disorder is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method extends the range of products for diagnostics of generalised anxious disorder.
