FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: combined aircraft engine consists of two-cascade gas turbine engine with inner and outer shafts, compressor, main combustion chamber whereto fuel runs from fuel pump, turbine and jet nozzle. Stirling engine is fitted behind the turbine of engine inner shaft. Aforesaid Stirling engine incorporates at least one working cylinder mounted behind the turbine along the stream and at least one expander cylinder fitted behind the working cylinder along the stream. Every expander cylinder has a casing to form with the cylinder a cooling chamber. Cooling chamber inlet communicates with air intake branch pipe. Expander cylinders are mounted on outer housing of prop-fan turbojet engine.
EFFECT: increased efficiency, higher reliability, lower weight and costs.
