NAIL (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC F16B15/04 F16B15/00

Abstract RU 2373435 C2

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to fixing devices designed for connecting parts out of wood or for fixing parts made out of other materials to wood; invention corresponds to nail of special design. According to the first version the nail has two rods connected with a head; the rods have a gap between them and have one-sided chamfer at the end of each rod. The chamfers are counter directed. The ends of rods are approached so, that distance between the points of the chamfers equals to the gap between the rods near the head of the nail. According to the second version the nail has two rods connected with a head; the rods have one-sided chamfer at the end of each rod. Two rods touch each other along the whole length. Each chamfer is turned around the rod so, that chamfers of rods and their points are directed in different directions relative to plane passing through rods of the nail.

EFFECT: improved operational features due to elimination of nail spontaneous going out of item during operation.
