SUBSTANCE: invention relates to semi-automatic and automatic guns, particularly to magazines arranged under the barrel. Magazine self-releasing from breach frame comprises catch and casing with device to fasten in breech frame. Aforesaid device is spring-loaded inside the said casing and can thrust against cartridge to press out for size sufficient for it to be fixed by magazine catch and/or breech frame. The device above represents thrust ledge on the casing rear wall and/or hook on its front wall. Thrust ledge and/or hook can have flexible part arranged on the base made inside the casing to act as a spring.

EFFECT: higher reliability, reduced time for recharging.
