FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to alloys on cobalt basis containing rare-earth element which can be used in the capacity of catalyst for cleaning of gaseous emissions from dangerous pollutants of carbon. It is proposed alloy on cobalt basis. Alloy displaying catalytic properties at oxidation of carbon monoxide contains rare-earth element. In the capacity of rare-earth element alloy contains yttrium or gadolinium at a following components ratio, wt %: yttrium or gadolinium-16÷38, cobalt - the rest. Alloy allows high activity at more high temperature.

EFFECT: receiving of ability of temperature interval expanding of catalysts usage used for reduction of ecological pollution rate of environment.
