METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT OF INSULATION FOR BOREHOLE TROUBLE ZONE USING PROFILED SHUTTER WITH CYLINDRICAL AREAS Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC E21B29/10 

FIELD: oil-and-gas production.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions related to oil and gas wells drilling and maintenance, particularly to insulation borehole trouble zones. Method includes descending shutter with a shoe into borehole trouble zone on a pipe string, equipped with latch mechanism, widen heading in shape of force plug, installed one on top of another with reduce of diametre in direction of working surface shutter, widening of profiles by creating of hydraulic pressure, drift of cylindrical and calibration of profile areas. Using widen heading during drift and calibration initiate longitudinal displacement from top to the bottom with pushing through shutter applying string and hydraulic jet weight. During anchor unit lifting, hydraulic jet with centraliser relative to widen heading ring blow off inside the pipe sting water using bypass valve. The last after the stutter force plug has a ability to increase its diametre up to working one using hydraulic pressure.

EFFECT: isolation quality increase, accident avoidance.
