FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to turbine engine production, particularly to methods of pressurisation of gas turbine engine bearings. Air is forced from high-pressure compressor into oil chamber of LP compressor rear bearings and, via air ducts, into remaining oil chamber of other compressor and turbine bearings during starting and accelerating to rotor RPM approximating to "idle" conditions and decelerating engine from aforesaid conditions to complete stop. Note here that in stopping conditions, compressor and turbine venting valves are closed prior to changing the valve over to bleeding air from high-pressure compressor. During air feed from HP compressor, compressor and turbine venting vales communicating with oil chambers of compressor and turbine bearings are closed. In other engine operating conditions, the valve is changed over to air feed from LP compressor, or gas-air circuit behind the compressor. Note here that after the said change over, aforesaid venting valves are opened.
EFFECT: higher tightness, engine longer life and higher reliability.
