FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: in method of natural gas liquefaction and extraction of components heavier than methane, natural gas is cooled and divided in the first distillation column into steam flow extracted from above the column and saturated with methane, and sediment flow saturated with components which are heavier than methane. The first distillation column uses spraying flow containing liquefied methane. That spraying flow can be provided by means of condensed steam part of overhead fraction or part of fully condensed steam of overhead fraction, which is then heated. Sediment flow can be divided in one or more additional distillation columns in order to provide one or more product flows, any of which is partially or completely taken out as extracted hydrocarbons. Non-extracted liquid hydrocarbon flow can be combined either with condensed part of steam of overhead fraction, or with part of fully condensed steam of overhead fraction, which is then heated.
EFFECT: use of invention will allow extracting natural gas liquid without considerable supply pressure decrease and simplifying the design of the main heat exchanger.
