FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to liquefaction of gases. Disclosed is method of removing coolant from plant for liquefaction of natural gas, in accordance with which evaporated mixed refrigerant is discharged from closed refrigerating circuit and supplied to rectification column, where it is separated into head vapors, enriched with methane, and still liquor enriched with heavier components. Head pairs are removed from the rectification column to obtain a methane-enriched stream, which is withdrawn from liquefaction plant, still liquor is returned from rectification column into closed refrigerating circuit. Also described are methods of changing volume of natural gas production at a liquefaction plant, from which coolant is removed as described above, and plant for liquefaction of natural gas, on which such methods can be implemented.
EFFECT: technical result is the preservation of heavy components of the coolant.
