FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: method for automated hydraulic-pneumatic cleaning of protective glass of sight-range finder includes sending of light signal in process of hydraulic-pneumatic cleaning operation in time intervals with application of light diode through protective glass to photoelectric cell in compliance with control command of microprocessor control unit. At the same time, if protective glass is clean and light signal arrives to photoelectric cell, signal is sent on availability of light signal from light diode to microprocessor control unit. When light signal stops arriving from light diode to photoelectric cell, which indicates contamination of protective glass surface, to microprocessor control unit, signal is sent to stop sending of light signal, which on the basis of signals from manometre of air balloon and sensor of liquid level in tank generates a control signal for supply to valve with tap in compliance with function of glass cleaning with air or liquid.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of cleaning.
