FIELD: means of protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to fire fighting equipment and, in particular to methods for fire control mainly in case of spot fires. Available method for extinguishing of such fire is air isolation from fire with inertial gas and suppression of ascending flow draught by mass of aerosol hovering in it. Generator of inertial gas may be a gas-turbine plant with circuit for production of liquid air. Substance of invention consists in the fact that liquid air is separated in air-separation plant into nitrogen and oxygen, oxygen, fuel and water are pumped with pump, nitrogen and oxygen are evaporated and heated in heat exchangers of cooling agent circulation circuit, oxygen, fuel and water are supplied to gas generator of GTP, and nitrogen is used for additional fire-fighting medium. As a result, specific efficiency of inertial gas generator is increased, fraction of oxidant in them drops down to minimum, both fire-extinguishing mediums are made heavier by means of aerosols. At the same time GTP is simplified due to elimination of air compressor from its design. Apart from extinguishing of fires, suggested invention may be used for creation of protective strips and obstacles in performance of defensive actions.
EFFECT: provision and use of new efficient means for fire fighting.
