FIELD: means of protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to fire extinguishing equipment, in particular to method for fire control mainly in case of forest fires, and consists in the fact that in front of fire edge a fire-retardant strip is arranged, where fire-fighting medium (FFM) is supplied in the form of inertial gas mixture with aerosols, at the same time in order to produce inertial gas and aerosols, air is used, as well as powdered fuels and fire-resistant particles of, for instance coal or wood, clay or ash. Size of powdered fuels and fire-resistant particles is accepted based on their hovering in air to approach of fire edge, particles are sprayed on fire-fighting strip in concentration of mixture with air close to stoichiometric one, mixture is exploded remotely prior to approaching of fire-fighting strip of fire edge.
EFFECT: simplified delivery and distribution of FFM in fire-fighting strip, considerable simplification of forest fire extinguishing means complex - when ready components of FFM are used, only transport is required for their delivery and distribution in strip.
