FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to woodworking industry and may be used to provide for bio- and water-resistance of wood. Method is described for wood processing, including its impregnation with tall oil. Tall oil is previously heated up to temperature of 180-220°C, then air is supplied in it for 90-150 minutes, maintaining temperature specified above, afterwards dehydration catalyst is introduced in amount of 0.5-3% of tall oil mass, then tall oil is maintained at temperature of 200-250°C for 2-5 hours, afterwards wood is impregnated at the temperature of 130-170°C for 10-60 minutes and then exposed to thermal treatment at the temperature of 155-185°C for 3-8 hours.
EFFECT: improved water- and bio-resistance of wood, preservation of wood mechanical strength.
