FIELD: ship building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed trimaran comprises central hull, lateral hulls, LH and RH decks rigidly interconnecting the hulls. Hulls represent thin-wall cylinders formed by shells reinforced by primary and intermediate frames. Lateral underdeck surfaces of central hull bow and stern represent fragments of cylindrical shells strengthened by frames with cylinder axes turned, in horizontal and vertical lengthwise planes, through α=5°…30° and δ=0°…20°, respectively. Lateral hulls central parts represent fragments of cylindrical shells reinforced by primary and intermediate frames to form lentil cross section. Lateral hull bow and stern ends represent fragment of cylindrical shells with cylinder axes turned, in horizontal plane, through β=5°…15°, while, in vertical lengthwise plane, through λ=0°…20°.
EFFECT: possibility of sailing in confined waters.
