FIELD: shipbuilding; profiling ship s hull lines. SUBSTANCE: lines of ship s hull are profiled according to smooth curves. Hull skin is formed by continuous developing of cylindrical plates of bottom, bilges and sides on plane. These plates are provided with guides profiled according to quadratic curves in form of keel line connected in fore and aft extremities, as well as lines of bottom, bilges and sides. Lines of bottom, sides and bilges are located symmetrically relative to keel line. Hard chine frames are located in vertical sections of plates of bottom, bilges and sides. Tops of frames lie on lines of bottom, bilges and sides. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability; facilitated procedure of shipbuilding. 3 dwg
