FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: alumina is received by means of processing of bauxite by process of Bayer with introduction of lime into the process. Received aluminium hydrate is washed from sodium oxalate, return alkali-aluminate muds are subject to desoxalation, sediment of oxalate is separated and burnt. Separated from solution sediment of oxalate before burning is mixed to lump lime and received after burning lime is directed into Baeyer process. Hydrated industrial water is subject to desoxalation by treatement by lime with following separation of sediment by filtering. Returned alkali aluminate mud is evaporated up to supersaturation by sodium oxalate and sediment is separated by filtering.
EFFECT: reduction of lime consumption and alumina losses, heat consumption.
