FIELD: explosives.

SUBSTANCE: safety emulsion explosive (SEE) comprises microspheres as sensitiser, dispersion of aqueous solution of inorganic oxidant-salts and flash eliminator salt in medium of flammable carbohydrate phase, which consists of industrial oil, stabiliser of dispersion and emulsifier, and additionally contains as flash eliminator powdery potassium chloride with particle size of less than 500 mcm. Dispersion contains ammonia nitre and sodium nitre as inorganic oxidant salts, petroleum butter or polyisobutylene as stabiliser of dispersion, potassium chloride as flash eliminator salt. Method for production of SEE includes production of dispersion by means of heating with mixing of aqueous solution of inorganic oxidant salts and potassium chloride and flammable hydrocarbon phase, dispersion, cooling of produced aqueous dispersion down to 20÷75°C, its mixing with sensitiser and with powdery potassium chloride.

EFFECT: improved safety properties of SEE relative to methane - and air-dust mixtures.
