FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of ecology and soil science and can be used to determine fractional composition of substances from coal strip mine stockpiles. To implement the method three averaged samples of analysed stockpile material are taken and the first sample is heated at the temperature of 140-170°C for 30 min, the second sample is heated at the temperature of 140-170°C for 5 min and the third sample is held at the temperature of 18-20°C for 15-20 min. In this process low-oxidable fraction content corresponds to difference in values of mohr's salt amount spent to titrate solutions obtained after the first and the second samples oxidation; moderately-oxidable fraction content corresponds to difference in values of mohr's salt amount spent to titrate solutions obtained after the second and the third samples oxidation, and high-oxidable fraction content corresponds to mohr's salt amount spent to titrate the third sample.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to determine fractional composition of reduced substances from coal strip mine stockpiles and to improve reliability of their determination.
