FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to instrumentation, specifically to laser location and can be used in target acquisition and recognition systems, in vehicle collision warning systems, in navigation devices and in security alarm systems. According to the invention, sensitive area is created by intersecting fields of vision of transmitting and receiving systems. Systems have form of tetrahedral pyramids with spherical surfaces at lower base and with tops at the centre of lenses, having lateral faces in the form of sectors of a circle. Reflected signal from foreign object is captured and estimate object location according to reflected signal and sensitive area orientation. The device uses laser pulse source of light emission. Objective lenses of the system have cylindrical lenses installed in them. Section planes with maximal curvature of these lenses are parallel to each other.
EFFECT: increasing sensitive area of device spatial resolution capability and reducing intensity of background signals.
