SUBSTANCE: data carrier is proposed, which carries multimedia data for playing back audio-visual (AV) data and a function, device and method of playing back. The data carrier includes data for audio-visual data playback mode, program applications for providing the user with interactive functions, system data for managing execution of playback mode data and program data and object-applications for managing execution of program data and information on playback mode data. Accordingly, various user interfaces and/or various additional functions can be provided, as well as simple playback of AV data.
EFFECT: prevention of use of program applications with malicious intentions, and provision for repeated use of program applications with the same function without modification or recompiling.
