BENCH FOR SPECIMEN IMPACT TESTS Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC G01N3/34

Abstract RU 2376575 C1

FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to testing equipment, to strength tests. Bench for specimen impact tests includes base, horizontal guide tube installed on it, two grippers arranged in the tube for attaching the tested specimen, acceleration device including flywheel with its rotary drive, which is installed on base, rod to the end of which the first gripper is attached, and device for pressing the rod to flywheel, and shaper of dynamic load in the form of a set of loads for interaction with the second gripper. At that, loads are installed in vertical guide, a limit stop is installed in pipe for interaction with the second gripper, lower load is connected to limit stop by means of flexible rod passing through the rest loads and enveloping the block fixed on the pipe; at that, loads have restrictors of vertical movement under influence of dead weight.

EFFECT: increasing amount of information by means of tests not only at stepped loading but also at stepped unloading of specimens.
