FIELD: physics; image processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering and is meant for processing two- and three-dimensional images. Invention can be used in stationary and onboard computer vision systems, in devices for controlling stand-alone robots, in program-controlled processing machines, in automated design systems. For this purpose in a device which contains a control unit, a matrix A×A×A of single-bit processors, a matrix A×A of single-bit units image memory, A3- input unit for determining volume, A3-input former of occupation code of image A×A×A, matrix A×A of single-bit switches of intralayer shift, there are more interprocessor connections inside matrix A×A×A. As a result, when the most frequency used instructions for rotation by an angle which is not a multiple of 90° about the centre of a binary image A×A×A, it is no content of one layer A×A×1 of this binary image which rotates, but content all layers A×A×1.
EFFECT: increased rate and accuracy of processing two- and three-dimensional images, reduced energy consumption.
