METHOD OF PRODUCING RING-LIKE SOLID CATALYSTS Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC B01J35/02 B01J23/31 B01J23/84

Abstract RU 2377068 C2

FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing ring-like solid catalysts with bent and/or unbent face surface of rings and active mass of stoichiometric composition. General formula I of said composition represents Mo12BiaFebX1cX2dX3cX4fOn (I) wherein X stands for nickel and/or cobalt; X stands for thallium, alkaline and/or alkaline-earth metal; X3 stands for zinc, phosphorus, arsenium, boron, antimony, tin, cerium and/or tungsten; X4 means silicon, aluminium, titanium and/or zirconium; a means 0.2 to 5; b means 0.01 to 5; c means 0 to 10; d means 0 to 2; e means 0 to 8; f means 0 to 10 and n stands for number subject to valence and quantity of elements other than oxygen present in I. It can also represent stoichiometric composition of general formula II, i.e. [Y1a'Y2b'Ox']p[Y3c'Y4d'Y5e'Y6f'Y7g'Y2h'Oy']q (II) wherein Y1 stands for only bismuth or bismuth and at least one of such elements as tellurium, antinomy, tin and copper. Y2 stands for molybdenum or molybdenum and tungsten; Y3 stands for alkaline metal, thallium and/or samarium; Y4 means alkaline-earth metal, nickel, cobalt, copper, manganese, zinc, tin, cadmium and/or mercury; Y5 means iron or iron and at least one of such elements as vanadium, chromium and cerium; Y6 means phosphorus, arsenium, boron and/or antinomy; Y7 stands for rare-earth metal, titanium, zirconium, niobium, tantalum, rhenium, ruthenium, rhodium, silver, gold, aluminium, gallium, indium, silicon, germanium, lead, thorium and/or uranium; a' means 0.01 to 8; b' means 0.1 to 30; c' means 0 to 4; d' means 0 to 20; e' >0-20; f means 0 to 6; g' means 0 to 15; h' means 8 to 16; x', y' mean numbers subject to valence and quantity of elements other than oxygen present in II and p, q mean numbers with p-to-q ratio varying from 0.1 to 10, with ring-like shape of which features length L varying from 2 to 11 mm, outer diametre A varying from 2 to 11 mm and wall thickness W varying from 0.75 to 1.75 mm, with due allowance for existing face surface curvature. In compliance with the proposed invention, finely dispersed plastic mix is produced from sources of elementary active mass components to form, if necessary, ring-like molded products using auxiliary moulding and/or reinforcing materials. Said products represent forerunners of above described solid catalysts. Then thermal treatment at increased temperature is carried out to produce final ring-like solid catalysts. Note that proposed invention differs from known methods in that strength of aforesaid forerunners of solid catalysts is ≥12 H and ≤23 H, when said forerunners are subjected to lateral compression. The invention covers also ring-like solid catalysts with bent and/or unbent face surface of rings and active mass of stoichiometric composition with general formula I or II. It covers also ring-like moulded product, a forerunner of solid catalyst, thermally treated at higher temperature to produce solid catalyst. It covers also the method of producing acrolein and/or metacrolein by heterogeneous catalytic partial oxidation in gas phase using above described catalyst.

EFFECT: perfected method of producing ring-like solid catalysts.
