FIELD: ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method for treatment of waste water and spent electrolytes of galvanic industries from chrome ions (III, VI). To realise method, sparingly soluble compounds are deposited by serial addition of first hydroxide solution or carbonate of alkaline metals up to pH=7-8, then after separation of produced deposit lime water is added in equimolar amount to content of chrome (VI), then after separation of produced deposit spent electrolyte of zinc-plating galvanic process is added in amount identified by previous test, and in the end - spent electrolyte of lead production with available concentration of lead ions. At the last stage precious target product is extracted - yellow pigment. Cleaned waste water contains chrome ions in concentration that is lower than limit permissible according to hygienic norms.
EFFECT: method is simple, does not require heating, and is easily realisable in ordinary technological equipment.
