SUBSTANCE: invention refers to production of fillers for concretes. The method of production of large-size filler for concrete consists in applying mixture on base of mineral binding on surface of filler grains and in succeeding hardening; the mixture of liquid glass with ground silicate material is used as the mixture on base of mineral binding; the mixture consists of components at the following ratio, wt %: liquid glass 70-90; ground silicate material 10-30, also upon hardening the layer is subject to heat treatment at temperature 200-500°C till swelling.

EFFECT: increased strength of filler and concrete cohesion.
