FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to road construction materials and can be used in paving roads, bridges, aerodromes and hydraulic engineering structures. The invention relates to a modifying composition for asphalt-concrete mixtures which contains active rubber powder with particle size of not more than 0.8 mm and with specific geometric surface area of not less than 5000 cm2/g, obtained through thermomechanical grinding vulcanised rubber in the presence of adhesion reducing powder selected from paraffin, ozokerite and halogen-containing alcohol-telomer in amount of 0.1-2.0% of the mass of vulcanised rubber. The composition also contains metasilicate with needlelike structure, gel formation initiator, selected from: 4-nitro-N-methylaniline, N-methyl-N,4-dinitrosoaniline, N-(2-methyl-2-nitropropyl)-4-nitrosoaniline, N-nitrosodiphenylamine and at least one structure-forming agent with high induction period of structure formation of not less than 30 minutes at temperature 160°C, selected from: oligomeric epoxy-ether resin, epoxy-diane resin, polycondensation resin, which promotes formation of branched or cross-linked structures, with the following ratio of components, wt %: active rubber powder 65-90, metasilicate with needlelike structure 4.0-25.0, gel formation initiator 1.0-4.5, structure-forming agent(s) 1.7-6.0. The invention also relates to a method of producing a modified asphalt-concrete mixture.
